Fabric used:
- Charcoal Kona Cotton Solids – approx. 18″ square, squared
- Tomato Kona Cotton Solids – 1″ strip approx. 16″ long
- Delft Kona Cotton Solids – 1″ strip approx. 16″ long
- Citrus Kona Cotton Solids – 1″ strip approx. 16″ long

Steps:
- Cut two strips 4.5″ wide from the charcoal fabric. These will be the pieces that flank the red stripe.
- Cut remaining charcoal piece in two to create two strips. I chose to cut mine into different widths to add a little character.
- Sew pieces together, as shown, using a 1/4″ seam.
- Press both sides.
- Trim to a 15″ finished square.
